The Challenge

To move Red C away from a traditional Advertising Agency model to a Full Service Agency that offers both high and low cost video to its clients.

The public’s constantly changing attitudes towards watching video online as well as the decreasing costs of producing film and video, reinforces a report from Campaign magazine by the Creative Director of Meteorite who predicted that the company that can produce low cost video will have a larger share of the future.

“The reality is that some kid in a bedroom can create a video for less than £100 and have it seen by more people than an advert created for £150,000 with a media spend in the millions. This has to be a wake-up call to Advertising Agencies and anyone working in marketing.”

The Solution

Acquire and install a cost effective, industry standard solution.

Working with GBM Sales Manager, Martin Lomas, Red C purchased Final Cut Pro.
GBM then put together a comprehensive schedule combining bespoke training and Apple Authorised training courses, including, camera skills and FCP 101.
This enabled Red C’s trained staff to effectively film, edit and output video for a wide range of uses.
