GBM Digital is a Manchester based supplier of Apple and PC equipment and services to businesses and education throughout the North. We specialise in I.T support. installations, integration and training services and have the technical skills to provide our customers with a high level of after sales service and support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Internal Account Manager to maintain and grow a portfolio of products and services via outbound telesales activity and face to face sales into businesses and education.
Position: New Business/Internal Sales
Overview of the role:
Proactive sales of I.T related products and services into SME and Education market throughout the North-West of England. Building a customer database to use for sales and marketing. Contacting prospective clients and customers on a daily basis. Manage incoming sales requests with quick and efficient followup.
Key Tasks:
• To develop and maintain high level relationships with accounts.
• Account manage existing clients and relationships in addition to developing new clients.
• Identify new leads and potential customers from a variety of sources.
• Hit weekly/monthly sale targets and set call rates.
Expectations & Standards:
• Gain product knowledge on services and solutions to effectively sell and advise.
• Market knowledge. Gain a working understanding of the marketplace through industry press, websites and clients.
• Source own leads from a variety of different mediums – i.e. internet, industry press, bulletins, referrals etc.
• Record client information on the internal systems.
• To have the self-motivation, desire & urgency to achieve the required targets.
• Involvement in other in-house training courses.
Candidate:
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Drive, energy and initiative
- Professional approach
- Apple/I.T experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
Position: Internal/Field Sales Executive
Overview of the role:
As an Internal/Field Sales Executive your key duties and responsibilities will include identifying and self generating new business leads from the SME and Education market, securing new business sales in line with specified targets and timescales. Working from the Manchester based office and visiting customers to develop new business.
Key Tasks:
• Develop and manage new major accounts.
• Proactive selling of services and products to new and existing customers.
• Identify new leads and potential customers from a variety of sources.
• Hit weekly/monthly sale targets and set call rates.
Expectations & Standards:
• Gain product knowledge on services and solutions to effectively sell and advise.
• Market knowledge. Gain a working understanding of the marketplace through industry press, websites and clients.
