Mobile Classroom
Give your students access to technology where they want to work - at their desks, on the floor, down the hall or in the library. The iBook Wireless Mobile Classroom combines the management and control of a computer lab, the freedom of portable computing and the power of the Internet into an affordable, rolling solution. It has everything you need to get your computers up and running quickly and easily.

Usher in mobile computing
With the iBook Wireless Mobile Classroom, all the necessary technology is stored on a portable cart. An AirPort Extreme Base Station keeps the lab’s iBook computers connected wirelessly up to 45 metres (150 feet) away. And when the base station is connected to an existing Ethernet port, students have instant access to the school’s network and the Internet. Another great advantage is that all the iBooks can be charged at the same time, simply by plugging a single electrical unit into the wall.
Jump-start learning anywhere
Your students’ access to technology is no longer limited to a single computer lab or classroom. Now teachers have the flexibility to turn any corner of the building into a powerful learning centre. And because the iBooks are on a mobile cart, they can be shared by teachers and students in different classrooms to maximise use. What’s more, security is not an issue - the solid construction of the lab and the locking doors ensure that the iBooks will be safe when they are not in use.
Powerful, flexible and scalable
Each Mobile Classroom is sold as a ‘Base Unit’, containing the key elements (Bretford Cart, Teacher’s iBook, HP Printer etc. - as listed below) to which you can add your choice of 5, 10 or 15 students’ iBooks featuring either 12.1-inch (diagonal) or 14.1-inch (diagonal) TFT screens (2). For more information on purchasing options, visit the Apple Store for Education.
No Wires, No Retrofitting Required
The iBook Wireless Mobile Classroom reduces wiring costs and installation time. You don’t need to tear down walls and reconfigure buildings. You don’t need to invest in a dedicated computer lab. You have a cost-effective solution for placing multiple computers in a classroom.
